Which car should i get?

It been almost a month still trying to decide which car i should get. I love my RL. but It has too much mile.. its time for a upgrade. Went to the Infiniti and BMW dealership yday. The new G37X Coupe it looks nice. but I didn't like how infiniti designed the hood and the car is so small. I really like the M35X. similar as the RL. Went to BMW to check out the 535x. Went to Acura lol.. Check out the 2011 RL. I really like those cars.. Help me!!

Lol. i wish i did. i just got my settlement check. My friend was passing a truck. two lanes. he hydroplaned and shift to the wrong gear by accident. upshift , lost control of his car and crashed on the highway. we are very lucky didnt hit that truck. Broke my neck and my head was smashed to the window...

156,000 miles

on my RL. runs like the first day i drove it off the lot. I have had all the other cars you spoke of, NONE of them will be trouble free. so make the right choice if you have all this money save it!! put in the bank and KEEP the RL until 2012 see what acura comes up with!! those other cars will be in the shop over and over an you will regret paying cash, you could have saved for a better day.

Thanks flip and chris for your quick reply and your advice. The car is not yet paid off. still owe 4G. the car is well maintained. i was thinking about getting a 2008 RL just cuz i love this car soo much.. i have few minor problems with the car. i guess it was a bad idea lowering my car. had few blizzard in my city. my suspension is not working propely, one of my fog light is not working, have a whinnig sound between 30-40 mph, and etc.. have anyone own or know anything about bmw? i did some research online. the 2007-2010 5xx series have a lot of problems? and infiniti is not reliable? there reliable ranking is even lower than bmw and benz?

also, i noticed the 535x and the m37x doesn't have the a four piston brake -.- m37x and 535x has option for the window shade.. i heard lexus ranked best for reliable? i like the Lexus IS-F v8 5.0 418 HP. too bad its RWD. i never drove any RWD car. not sure if i can get around in the winter..

If u get a beemer be prepared to pay alot for maintnance

I would keep the RL and just fix it use the money you were going to use on the new car on the RL and esp since you only owe 4k on it..

getting a new car you will owe plenty more.... thats my opinion

I was in your situation (sort of) just a couple of weeks ago... i cross shopped the same cars (except the 2011 RL )- If I were you, which i am not, but if my RL had that many miles on it, and I was shopping.... out of the choices given, my choice is the M37x. GL

I voted for keeping your RL. I am going to assume that you are going to put $30,000 cash to buy one of there cars. $50,000 for the car minus your RL $20,000. If I told you any of those three cars could cost you $1,357,779 would you buy one of them. If you take that $30,000 compounded it at 10% which is what the S&P 500 has averaged over the last 80 years over 40 years, you are 22 and that would put you at 62 years old, the amount would be $1,357,779. OUCH!!! That is an expensive car. This does not even include the extra insurance and personal property tax. Where will those cars be in 40 years, recycled park bench and you will be retired with a nice chunk of change and sitting on one of those benches. I am 58 years old and retired from the mutual fund industry. I was fortunate to have invested wisely but which I had started even earlier. The power of compounding is a power force. I have the means to buy any car for cash but would never buy a new depreciating car. My 2007 RL with 140,000 miles will be with me for a long time. I think of all the money I wasted over the years buying new cars and wished someone had knock this kind of sense in me.

I say keep the RL too and if you want, use some of that money to fix up/maintain your RL. Its a great ride and will last a long time. Save some of that money for a rainy day, your too young to be flaunting money away on a new car.

Or use the money to buy a house

Keep the RL. 90K is nothing for mileage. I sold our '97 with 225,000 and it wasn't using a drop of oil. We just decided to get a newer car with more creature features, so we opted for another RL. Seemed only logical considering the quality and low maintenance. Only once did the car fail us in all the years we owned it, the main switch under the dash gave up the ghost one night out at dinner. Two days later and 10 min of my time on my back under the dash and it was back on the road. The rest was just maintenance. If you opt for one of those other cars, you will get to know the service managers and cashier on a first name basis. My best friend has a Mercedes coupe a late model one and he hates it. He said if he didn't have so much money in it, he would have dumped it. I am not a fan of Toyota products, so there goes the Lexus. Infinity is Nissan's product line but I haven't driven one of those lately. The BMW is what is on every corner. Why do you think there are so many Acura's all over San Diego?
