Can the RL do this?????
How many takes or practice runs do you think?
Did that have a clutch and paddle shifters?
Holy shit I wish an RL could do that! Might have to take out the back seats and give it a try...

I thought http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQ7R_buZPSo was better...
I liked the first video better.
what you gotta realize is that nobody gets the whole obstacle course on the first try or even the whole thing in one take. All of it is chopped from many many pieces after many many fails. Hell...good chance they are using more than two cars to complete all this stuff and nobody's really telling us how many drivers are doing it either.
It does make for some good advertising

the silver thing looks like a shifter (quick bump up and down in the video) and may have a handbrake handle on it that you simply squeeze.
The large silver handle with trigger is a hand brake, I believe, like 037 noted. The question I had was that there are three pedals, but it is obvious he is shifting with paddles on the steering wheel. Is he pushing a clutch and shifting with paddles? I have heard of some Fararris that have three shift modes: full auto, paddle shifter without clutch like the RL, and a fully manual mode. But I wasn't sure if they were using a shifter or the paddles. That doesn't seem like it would be that hard to get used to, but it definitely seems alien to me.
