Hi folks,
My 06 RL failed the state inspection due to broken front right and side engine mounts. Of course the dealership says they could fix it for a measly $900 but I figured I'd get your thoughts and some other estimates. My questions for the forum are:

1. Is there a front left mount? I ask that because all the threads I've searched make no mention of one but says to replace "all" mounts when you do have them replaced.

2. After searching some of the vendor OEM parts, they make mention of the engine bracket ($50) and the rubber assembly engine mount ($160)...do i have to get both or does the rubber assy come with the bracket.

Any advice and recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

We have vacuum activated mounts, and there is one on all 4 sides.

There is a front mount, side mount, rear mount, and a transmission mount. The side mount is on the right (passenger's) side and the transmission mount is on the left (driver's) side.

You will have to buy the mount and bracket separately.

 

get the xlr8 2004 acura tl poly mounts..

nice and solid ride after that. the side mount will not fit cuz,
the RL has 2 screws, but any machine shop can make a bracket for it cheap!
