brakes

I know there was lots of dicsussion on the brake squeal in the original brakes - at least on the 05s like mine. I weathered through without taking it to dealer to replace. Brakes wore out at about 55K miles and had them serviced 2 weeks ago. Did not think I had to ask dealer about which pads they were going to put on, but to my surprise the new ones squeal just as much if not more than the originals!

Bummer. I think I'd be going back if I were you.

Fortunately for me, I have an '06 and haven't had any squealing at all. Of course, my brakes require more force to stop than some of my other cars have, but they work fine. Too bad the brakes on my MDX can't be grafted onto my RL ... those "X" brakes are so good they're almost touchy!
