it is VERY common for any dealership regardless of brand.
Hence why they are called "STEALERSHIPS"

EVERY single one of my non-car friends regardless of sex complains of $600-800 brake jobs.

in my short period of life; I have noticed that we pay a premium for services we dont know how to do ourselves. this is no exception.
home plumbing is the worst! what seems like a simple PVC piping job turns into $600 dollar job, simply because I didn't know what I was doing

try independent shop, the cost should be around $600 for all 4. If you know any one then you can get the whole thing done for $400 or less.

Honestly, brakes is one of the simplest things you can diy. What you save in labor you can sink into better quality parts and you know it's done right.

DITTO. Make sure that the rotors really do need to be changed....may only be the pads and that's simple.

Rotors easy too. Look up videos on You Tube. Easy Peasy...Japaneesy!!

Just ordered front and rear rotors off epay, raybestos about $120 for all 4 rotors ship to my door.
If the old ones are in spec I will have them turned at the local O'reilly's for $12 each and save them
as spares.
Suzrogers, i would see if their is a independent Honda/Acura repair shop near you.
What is your location?

I got Z23 brake pads and rotors kit from rockauto.com for about $300, and paid $120 labor to have them installed in the shop where I maintain both of my cars, and both motorcycles - so goes without saying they do let me bring in my own parts...

Dealer, well they charge what they charge
