Brake fluid requirements?
Read somewhere that if you don't use a specific brake fluid from Acura it will damage the master cylinder...I got a kit that included brake fluid for my upcoming brake job, but I'm scared to use it if it'll damage the system. Upgrading to goodridge stainless hoses at the same time so I'll definitely be needing brake fluid.
Anyone know the skinny on this? Also, do I need any special parts for this? I used raybestos drag reduction clips in my f-150. Are there drag reduction clips for this vehicle as well?

I don’t believe Acura brake fluid has anything specific about it that makes it special. The only fluids I stick to Acura are transmission, rear differential and front transfer case fluid, coolant and PS fluid. Brake fluid and engine oil I don’t mind outsourcing to other brands.
I’ve been running motul brake fluid for years and brake feel hasn’t changed. But again I’m case study 1:1.
