Can someone give me the 4-1-1 on why my new (new to me at least) 2005 RL with "Driver 1" and "Driver 2" keys greets me with "Wecome Driver 2" regardless of which key I have with me?

I assume that there is some way to rename or re-associate the keys with the car, but since I don't yet have the owner's manaul I'm at a loss.
