Has anyone managed to connect a Moto G3 to their RL?

My Honda's BT unit died and so now my HFT speaks with an American accent, but my phone cannot find the HFT. It worked with the old module which had a British accent.

I know the phone is sold in the US, so I thought I'd ask.

Turned out that the 'clear all phones' thing can't have worked first time I tried it.
