Hi, does anybody know if its possible to adjust the dim on the footlight on Acura RL 2006 model ?

It is full dim when doors open, but fades to low upon driving in my opinion ... Anybody knows a trick ?

That's what it's supposed to do, it's ambient lighting.

 

Yeah I know... but I would like it brighter upon driving... can that be adjusted or I would need to make something myself ?

 

I don't think there are any adjustments to the stock ambient lighting. I do agree it's not very bright at all when driving, but that's just the way it is.

 

It's almost surely linked to the cabin lights tripped by the door switch. Defeating that could be a painful process. The fastest way would be to use direct power from an ACC fuse to the lights.
