Hey anyone attempt to paint their grill black on their 2g rl, and how would it look
Need some opinions, I got 07 premium white pearl and looking to
Go black on white, aka rims, roof, ect...

Don't paint the roof black. It doesn't work with the RL.

Here's why; the back window is not flush with the edges of the back of the roof. There is a curve that doesn't look right:

If you do want black, DON'T PAINT IT. Get a vinyl wrap. Vinyl is always reversible, paint is not.

 

When the RL was early in its current generation, say circa 2004-2007 there was a certain contingent of the community that spent a lot of effort to dismiss the RL as an 'old man's car', 'irrelevant since we have the TL', and of course the infamous 'looks like an Accord'.

I find it amusing to see that similar contingent of the community now uses adjectives like 'dope' and 'sick' where the RL is the constant and the opinion has changed (along with the price of admission)?

 

I hope you realize my rhetoric was satirical and in reference to the influence of the 3G TL forums.

Bigger question: do they fit an RL?

 

Be prepare to pay more than 4K for this set plus tires. Nice wheels tho.

 

He's not selling the wheels, but the design on the wheels. If you want these HREs but don't want to drop $4k, get the Nurburgrings for $1.1k.
