I am getting the following done in preparation for a RL Road Trip from St. Louis to Aspen.

Drain and refill on the transmission
oil change
check tread depth on tires
bought autosocks (hopefully they workout)
change wipers
refill wiper fluid, check all other fluids and bring an extra windshield wiper for drivers side and an extra refill of wiper fluid

Any other maintenance to be done for the trip?

Should I get the rear differential done too?

Since you are going this far, open up your engine filter box and clean your filter.

 

checked the air filter and got the rear diff and trans drained and filled with the DW1 in the Trans and the new AWD stuff for the rear diff. Also got the oil changed.

 

Get a one month trial for triple A and ride out.

Dont forget the cabin filter and music.

 

Did we forget about the transfer case fluid?

 

Take a test drive at high speed before you go. Is the tire balance perfect? If not get that done. This and wipers, which you already mentioned, will drive you nuts on a long trip.
