Better Warranty in the '06RL v. the '05RL

O.k. why did Acura move to a 70,000 mile warranty on the powertrain on the '06's? Is something lurking (a manufacturing defect) in my '05 that will blow-up between 50K and 70K?

No!

It had nothing to do w/Ur vehicle.
It's just another Honda/Acura feature......

I think their #1 reason for doing it is because the 2G TL had so many tranny problems that people are becoming aware of now - so they are trying to make the customers feel better about still buying Hondas.

Yup, for the tranny issues on the MDX/TL/CL. Same reason Subaru offers such a long rust warranty... they were known to rust.
