best tried and tested intake system rl

Hi all. I'm in the market for an intake system for my uk spec honda legend kb1. What have you guys used and have noticed decent gains? would prefer a cold air intake if possible.
Thanks for your replies in advance.

AEM CAI is probably the most common here. Gains are in the 1% range. Nothing that can't be covered up by poorly inflated tires.

OP - Doesn't driving in Oxford England automatically give you a cold intake system? Maybe our member from Finland has an even colder air intake system?

I have never seen anyone here mention how the stock setup of the RL is a CAI. The intake goes from the filter box, through a resonator, under the battery, and then back up between the battery and bumper to finish at a horizontal intake pulling air from between the hood and headlight. While I agree that the distance of piping and resonator may not provide the least amount of resistance, changing the intake will not buy you any colder air. I have long thought about removing the resonator, and connecting the intake to the port under the fog light as that would eliminate a few corners and also give some forced induction while the car is moving. The only thing that has kept me from pursuing this is the risk of puddles. I am not savvy enough with intakes to know what is a safe way to keep water out.
