Back, well Kinda.

Wow, I can't belive I actually remembered my password. Had a 05 TL with a whole host of mods and traded her in about 5 months ago for a 06 MB E-350. While the new car is very nice (Sport package and other goodies), I can help but keep looking at Acura. I feel like I'm cheating.............I never liked the RL, but it really grew on me. I always see on my way to work that looks like it is an A-Spec and hence my question.

I am out of my lease in about a year. Will Acura (or are they already) be offering the RL as a Type S by then? If so, what are the horsepower/torque projections? One last question, if they do offer the Type S, can you also get it as an A-Spec (I wasn't sure if that combo was offered).

Again, thanks for the help and maybe I'll be back in the family sometime in the near future.

Welcome to RL!

There is no Type-S RL yet. Given the sluggish sales of the RL, and its target demographic (guys a lot older than me ), it is unlikely we'll see that. There is an A-Spec body kit, suspension, and wheels available on the RL. I have all but the body kit (which looks a bit stuck-on in any other color than black), and the ride is great with much sharper handling than the base RL. Hope this helps a little.

Just wondering: what is the target demographic of the RL?

Thanks.

Maybe if you put a Type-S sticker on an RL, it'll go faster?
