I am trying to figure out, how many filler opening are on the Auto transmission on the RL.

I did a transmission fluid "flush" 2 weeks ago (4x3qt) and i saw a fluid filler opening under the fuse box (labeled ATF) and i also saw another transmission opening on the driver side, on the SIDE of the AT, visible and accessible by the front wheel well.

Is the opening on the side, by the wheel, actually for the transmission refill or it is used for a different purpose/fluid?

Let me know please. I tried to put some ATF there but since i was not very successful, i gave up and i used the top filler hole. I want to make sure that i did not put ATF where it's not supposed to go.
