? on auction prices
Whats up,
Pretty soon I am looking to purchase an 05 or 06 Rl depnding on price and i was wondering if anyone had information on auction prices for one with about 45,000 miles on it. I have friend w/ a dealer license to take me to the auction and just curious if anyone here regulary attends or knows what they are going for.
appreciate the feedback in advance

I am also looking, well stoped looking 05's im guessing 17-18K and 06's for around 20-21K
with the miles u are looking for, they recently went up a little in price!
someone posted auction prices not too long ago, do a quick search!

An 06 would have to be under 40K to purchase the 60K/ 60 months AcuraCare. The price of the extended warranty seems to go up the closer you get to 50K, especially after you cross 40K. I just bought a 60K AcuraCare, and not a minute too soon; since I crossed over 40K right after I purchased the warranty! Another day and I would have been ineligible.

^ When you say another day and you would ineligible.. how the hell do they know what you got for mileage? I mean, you bought it off the internet, right? You could prob lie about a couple thousand miles, but not like 10k miles difference.

It all depends what kind of service and registration your vehicle has had. When you go to a dealer for service they record your mileage, which AcuraCare can pull-up at their convenience. Same thing happens when you apply for a registration with your state DMV, your mileage will be recorded and available as part of the vehicle history attached to your VIN number.
So in theory you are correct, you can fudge it a few miles. In my case the day I bought the warranty I took my car in for service at the dealer, so I had to make sure that I was under 40K; even if it was by a few miles.
Cheers
