Guys,

I recently brought my car in for service and the Aspec front struts are leaking and need replacement. Herein lies the problem... the Aspec strut for drivers side is discontinued. I now need to figure out an appopriate replacement. I do know that there is an entire Aspec suspension on Ebay, however I didnt feel like spending $600 to replace 2 front struts and have leftover parts...

Those of you who have the H&R springs, are they mounted on the OEM non-Aspec struts? And is the ride quality/handling comparable to Apsec?

if one is blown, replace them all... time to start shopping.

 

Apparently u can only purchase the passenger side and rears...doesn't make sense to me either.

Are the struts on the 2010-2012 model stiffer than the 05-08? And if so are they a bolt on just like the sway bar?

 

I don't know if the guy is still selling it....
but, on the BM, there was a guy selling all around aspec suspension for the 2G RL for $150 brand new.
