Guys,

I would have considered it to represent the RL, but I will most likely be in Europe at the time...sorry.

My Reason

Although the pictures from the last bay area meet looked great and something that I would like to attend, the attendees comments about racing with reckless abandon over 100 mph on hwy. 280, scaring other people to the side of the road due to such actions, and lack of cohesiveness of the group, does not enhance the possibility of attending such an event. I was apalled when I read that their actions were endangering not only themselves but other innocents sharing the road.

I would like to see how other people have set up their rides. Get a few pointers here and there. Possibly meet up and make new friends. I think it is a great idea and experience to meet like minded people, but not when it involves racing on hwy. 9 and having near miss rear enders by the attendees like in the last meet. I'm sure not everyone was participating in such risky behavior but a large pack of like cars doing just that casts a negative shadow on everyone involved. Just my opinion, thanks but no thanks. Once the meet becomes more responsible, then I would love to attend. I work in an Operating Room that takes care of people in auto wrecks every day and it is never ever a pretty sight and sometimes sad.

I understand your concern...I would very encourage you to join us.

I am going over some precautions and concerns with the group. If you look at the precautions that I have been posting...I am organizing the even and the drive with high emphasis on leisure driving. The route (I35/I84) we are taking also ensure that high speed driving is discouraged.

In addition, I have been coordinating the drive with Team Leaders that will be responsible for managing small group of atendees to ensure that everyone is aware of the dangers.

Yes, I noticed your posting. You seem to have it pretty much planned out. Highest regards to you. My schedules not out yet, list me as unconfirmed yes. I'll let you know as soon as I know if I got the time off. White pearl / tan 2005 RL. I hope other RLs show up but I only know of one in my area. Pretty rare around Monterey Bay.

We have teamleaders that will be overseeing small groups and will be doing a dry run before the event. Hope to see you there..

New Development...we have combined the NSX BBQ Dyno Testing with Acurazine Meet.
