I am thinking about skipping on rear main seal on my '06 and rack and pinion seals to save few bucks (and I did not notice leak at those spots even that one mechanic said they did leak) for now since car wont be driven a lot and wondering in case they do leak in future does stop leak liquids help anything?
I did buy AT-205 and put in my '02 RL to stop rear main leak but did not notice anything different.Some people say it works on rack and pinion seals (can it be used on transmission leak too).
Are there any other liquids that work better (if they work at all).
I know previous gen RL all leak from rear main seals but how common is on '06?
