I'm looking for anyone who replaced their front brake calipers with some aftermarket BBK. I would like to see a picture of the mounting points. Or better yet, possibly purchase the calipers after I see the pictures. I'm curious if these would fit the new 4G TL.

Also on a side note, the 4G TL has the same bolt pattern as 2G RL... and the 4G TL comes stock with 13.2" rear brakes. I wonder if they would fit the RL.

 

We have great calipers, alum, rear quality. No reason to upgrade for street, maybe stainless lines to firm up pedal feel, these are really first class brakes.

 

Im planning on swapping out the stock caliper with a Brembo BBK kit that was off my Acura TL in a few weeks. So I will see if that is compatible.

 

I would suggest you look at braking balance, just putting on a different caliper does not assure better braking. Rest assure Honda does a lot of research on all they do, I have been a NSX forum and car owner for over 10 years and many changes people make to the car actually reduce its; effectiveness. Such as a larger sway bar makes it lean less but it does not handle any better on the street, it is much more complex than just changing a part. There is much more to this than I care to type.
