Thanks. I needed this as well, but these forums can be a bit intimidating to ask for anything. Some of you guys seem like you're just on here to insult and turn people down.

You are right, a little bit.

But I think only a few guys are like that. They are playing with words.

Many of them want to help people.

If you do not have thick skin or a sense of humor the internet is not a safe place for you.
If you can laugh and you aren't a prick then you will fit right in.

I get what you mean, and I know you get what I'm saying. I see the help, but another thing I see is that if someone wants to go a different route than what is accepted on here, some guys go hard to make the person feel like... well.. sht.

I can laugh plenty. I even get a lot of the sense of humor. My thing is, having my RL and coming on this forum I almost feel like I'm starting all over. I've been on many Honda/Acura sites and others, but seems like the best RL forum is this one. I often feel bad for some of the newbies, and feel like some of you guys forgot what it felt like to be new and uninformed. They come here for help, and get crapped on.

I get it, I totally understand, and sometimes its really funny. Other times though its just intimidating and discouraging. If this was the first forum I'd ever been on, I'd run for the hills, lol.

I like you. You can stay.

FWIW, I remember being a noob. When I joined in 12/10, I read A LOT of old threads (entire threads. Touge, BlazingGT, etc.) and read a lot of the conversations before I started throwing my two pennies at people. Some people like to show up to the party and push their ways on others, some don't have a clue, and some others can't take criticism when they ask for an opinion. If those people mind the responses, they should try to acclimate themselves before going balls to the wall.
