Also, do you have tinted windows (aftermarket)? If you have metallized tint (as I do), you will lose AM reception (I don't listen to AM, so it never bothered me to lose it). FM, Nav, and XM all come in normally (I guess as the antenna is on the roof).

I didnt do anything, simply turned it on and boom all i get is static.
I have an "extended" warranty and dont feel like paying 100 bucks for AM radio i only use on the weekends....
sigh

Did u cut the antenna in the back window? sometime, if they are not careful in remove tint, the antenna could be cut.... just my

check ur battery power level?
mine was super low about to die, and my xm went out... only the xm i got the singal on the screen and everything and fm/am & cd worked just not xm
