alternator alternative
Hi guys,
I think stock alternator is quite weak, especially if you want to upgrade audio. Is there well known better option to the OEM alternator? I've searched but this forum but couldn't find anything (probably I suck at searching).

Not a common enough one to be well documented here. But we have also seen quite a few audio systems running on the stock one. Why do you think it is weak?

Not sure, haven't done calculations yet
. It feels a little bit low if you have lights, ac, heated seats, radar and all this tech on
but yeah, I have to do measurements first.

i am currently running
6 55W ballast (15A each)
1200W RMS amp (75A)
400W RMS amp (50A)
40A of accessories
I experience a voltage drop with heavy bass at idle 13.7 to 12.8. No Big 3 Upgrade Just 0AWG to a distribution block and 0AWG ground for everything.

Honestly the control and added power is what really helped the most IMO. you can have the cheapest speakers but still sound good as long as you have the right amount of power and the ability to control what goes on with those speakers.
