All 3 TSB's done Yesterday
Yesterday I had all 3 TSB's done:
1) ONStar Control Unit Looses Minutes, etc.......
2) AcuraLink Control May Drain Battery/XM Refresh slow/No Real-Time Traffic
3) Trans Shifting 4-5 Gear Update
Outcome:
1) OnStar Control screen never use to appear on my RL when I pressed OnStar; now it does. Actually, I never knew that when you press OnStat you get OnStar screen displayed similar to when placing a call, since this never worked for me.
2) XM does refresh faster now.
3) Have not noticed any difference in shifting nor, cabin noise changes.
If your RL is running fine in 4 and 5th gear, I would not recommend this to be done.
Anyone else noticing similar things?

1. It may have done so before (i have not had the TSB yet) - you have to be in the audio screen for the onstar image to show up on the display when you push the onstar button. If you are viewing the map or somethign else, the onstar screen will not display.

Just picked up my car after getting all 3 tsb's done and fixed my squealing brakes.
While I couldnt really notice the 'fixes', one cool thing that I did notice is now switching into the MP3 directory is quicker. No more delay as I wait for the cd info to appear on the screen!
Oh, and it's soooo much nicer now that my brakes dont squeal like a pig!

Well, I also had the chance this past weekend to get my updates done. I had all three done and had to reactivate XM myself. The XM operator told me that I will not get to restart the first year. I did also notice that on my map screen when I zoom in and out (using the outer wheel) there is no idication of traffic availability. What happened there? Is anyone noticing this? It's like I'm not getting it anymore. I use to around the Daytona Beach Area kind of on the outskirts of Orlando, FL but now, I don't think I get anything. Anyone?
