Air and Cabin Filter Replacement

Has anyone got any DIY for the filter replacements, both the Air and Cabin filters?

Sorry to make another post on this subject, but for some reason the search feature isn't working for me, at all.

Thanks in advance.

Ha ha!! The Search feature is down, so the cranky guys that hate activity on the site have even less reason to whine at you for asking...

Here's the deal on the cabin filter:

1) Open your glove box.
2) reach to the back and pull the cloth liner away from the velcro that holds one end of it to the back of the glovebox.
3) push the button that drops your little "owners manual tray" down (there's an arrow) and then slide the tray out by pulling it straight back toward you.
4) look down in the back of the glove box, and you can see the housing where the filter is. Unsnap the releases on each side of it, and pull the cover open.
5) slide out the filter, slide in a new one and put it all back together.

Voila.

Thanks Ballinger.

What about the air filter? Surprisingly, I couldn't find an easy way to get at it, but I've always been a mechanically inclined klutz!

Thanks again in advance.

you need the diy instructions for that one.. it isn't hard but it isn't logical (meaning you can just go and change it the first time) either..I did it on the tl and rl, both are the same, and you need to see the shots so it makes sense.
