put your name in the MID screen where it says driver 1 or two. it would be cool to be able to get into a sercret screen where you could type in your name.... anybody thought of this?

Go to Home address in Navi
Hold Map and Menu at the same time to get More Menu
Enter Driver One name and then Driver 2 name

 

Now that is a worthwhile piece of info. I will have to try it!

 

didn't work for me. I went to my "Home" address screen and pressed (held it for 10 seconds) the map and menu buttons at the same time, but it just kept kicking me back out to the previous screen. Am I missing something here?

I actually thought it was a good idea if in fact the feature was real. I just got carried away.

 

this site was to help RL owner share and give info about the car we love to own. i use to own an Audi a6 4.2 and on there site you could ask a question and get a serious reply. i am disappointed!

honestly, i think this one little incident is being blown way out of proportion. I wanted to try out the name thing too, but obviously can't anymore... Granted the joke was not that funny, but apologies have been made and instead of carrying on whining about a whole lot of nothing, just take it for it is and move on.

 

I agree. C'mon it's an internet forum for God's sake. Everybody needs to relax a bit.
