Hi!
My Acura has been acting funky and I don’t know how to pinpoint the problem. One day while driving all these lights in the title started flashing. The car runs perfectly fine even when the lights flash and I assume it’s a wiring issue but I don’t know where I’d start to look and make it stop.

certain things that make it happen is when I break too hard it starts flashing or one day I was reversing and it flashed.

steps I’ve taken to check out the problem, I have checked the codes and this code popped up P0848. My battery is new and is getting 12 volts, I checked all my fuses, 12 volts as well. I took it to a shop just for them to clear all my codes and did nothing to help the car so I’m trying to figure it out myself before taking it to a specialist.

I’m genuinely so lost so any and all help would be appreciated!!

If you push the lever to the "D" position and wiggle it a little, does the D lamp flicker? In this case, you need a new position switch. (28900-RJB-033)
Unfortunately, this is a typical Fault

 

It's not the exact problem, but I had an issue where I got the flashing D light and the check emission system warning all the time. I replaced the neutral safety switch on my car and both lights don't come on any more.

 

Do you remember the cost for this repair?
