I ordered an intake from Visionary Racing for my dads RL... on the AEM box is says its for a 3G TL. Are the intakes for the RL and the TL the same?

I just wanted to make sure before I take it all apart.

 

I believe that is correct. The only difference is that Visionary Racing supplies a custom bracket that allows the TL intake to attach to the RL.

You can also always call Sam for verification. He designed the bracket so that the AEM can fit into the RL.

 

No need for verification from Sam. The intake is exactly the same as the 3G TL, and the only addition is the angle bracket for fitment in our RL.

So I just order the Base model AEM CAI not the TL-S right?

Yes, it's the base model TL CAI that I have....the TL-S one is frankly nearly, if not exactly, the same IIRC.
