Does anybody have both? Has it given you false alerts because of the active cruise control/cmbs? I know on the Infiniti cars they use laser for the system and it sets off the V1 all the time.

 

I have a 2007 Pax RL and a Bel STI Driver, and I haven't had any problems with false positives when the ACC is activated. So far, so good....

 

the ACC (which drives the CMBS system) radar is on a totally different frequency, there wont be any falsing.

I recommend an escort sr7 or a bell rx75 either one with radar blockers (they're essentially the same unit) They can be installed beautifully on the RL. Their radar detection is fierce and the laser blockers work like a charm. Expensive yes, but nothing is good enough for our RL's

 

I'll never give up my V1. I will install the ZR3 into the new RL though, if I purchase it...
