2G RL Sightings

I don't about you guys, but with the rarity of spotting an RL I thought it would be interesting to start a thread on this. I have owned my RL for 3 months and have spotted 3 different RL's in my area, ( Modesto, Turlock central valley of California).

For example today I spotted:

Time: around 4PM
Location: North bound Hwy 99 in Turlock at Fulkerth exit
Color: metallic light blue RL

Anyone I know?

When I lived in Northern VA, I would see at least one other RL per day. However, now that I live in the Bay Area, I might see another RL once a week.

There's getting to be more than I can count -- I see 3-4 a day at least here in NJ.

Less than on per day. If I leave for work at the right time, I'll pass a white one in the morning. Other than that, pretty uncommon...which I prefer.

I bought my NBP/ebony 2006 RL on December 10. It took 2 weeks of 60+ mile-per-day commutes before I saw another 2G RL (carbon gray) headed the opposite way on the 405 near UCLA. Just returned from an 1800-mile road trip to Colorado and saw one the entire time.

There is a white one that I see occasionally near the East LA interchange. One of my colleagues has a black one but parks in a different garage.

Here in the LA area overall, definitely less than one sighting per week for me. And I like it that way!

Not many in the San Francisco south bay area. Since I bought my 2005 RL (wow, it's been 2 years already ) I have seen less than 10 RLs on the road. Thinking positively, that makes the RL rarer than a Ferrari

I see a White one every day, as there is a woman who has one at my work(and bought on my recommend)

My work is also less than a mile from the closest Acura dealer, so I actually see alot of them.

If you ever catch a Nighthawk Black RL cruisin' down 99 on weekends, it may be me. I'm up in Sacramento, but my folks live down in Merced, so I pass by Stanislaus county on the way down.

Anyhow, up here in Sac, though the RL is rare as compared to say a Lexus GS, I'm beginning to see more of them. Not surprised though as there are 2 Acura dealers within the city.

I'm with you on that. I've got an '05 too and can't believe how the time has flown by. Almost time to trade up for me

I'll be looking for you on weekends. I have a pearl white and usually cruise to Modesto and Sonora on the weekend.

Two more...a black one in a Target parking lot yesterday and passes a silver one on the way to work this morning.

I've had my 2005 CGP/Ebony RL for about 13 months. During that time, I've seen a total of two other 2G RLs (not counting those at the local Acura dealer). That's pretty rare!

Funny, I commute in the Reston Herndon Chantilly area and I see maybe two a week on 28 or 267. I expected to see more.

I'm just north of San Francisco and I'm lucky to see one a week.

I've had my 2005 RL for 20 months and have only seen one other RL the same color as mine (Celestial Silver).

1 a day to 1 every other day. yesterday celestial silver with spoiler in the parking lot at mid-pacific country club. day before white rl on the road. day before that carbon grey in a parking lot at the driving range. this of course isn't counting the 2006 lakeshore silver rl belonging to a tenant in the same condo i live in (same color). fortunately i've got the a-spec rims and tint and he doesn't it is somewhat surreal passing your reflection when coming/leaving the condo.

There's one with the tech package in the physican parking lot at my main hospital....the owner, one of my colleagues, was the one who helped to sell me on the RL. Otherwise, I am lucky to see one a week. And of all the RL's I've seen, I have the only one I know of with the A-Spec wheels and suspension in the area.

If you see a NightHawk Black Pearl in the Chantilly, VA area.... it's probably mine. I have had my RL now for 2 months.... and I have probably seen about 8-9 RL's since buying mine.

The only A-Spec RL I've seen was a black one sitting on the Dealer's showroom floor.

I'm with VOdoc...live and work in the L.A. area. Where else can you find this many cars, going in the same direction, all at one time, moving 10 mph and only spot one per week? My 05 is a weekend driver maybe twice a month, so I know not many see it. It can't be that all other L.A. owners do the same thing.

Or it could be mine! I have had mine since about Dec 1, same color, but Tech Pack, though it is pretty impossible to tell the difference at a glance!

Its been months since I have spotted an RL that I have not seen before. However I was not in my hometown. I was in Santa Cruz CA on Front Street, when I spotted directly behind me an RL exactly like mine. Pearl white and looking sharp.

Date spotted: 05/24/07
Location: Front Street near E3 jazz club in Santa Cruz CA
Time: Around 7:45PM
Color: Pearl White RL.

Anyone there at that time?

I can go months without seeing an RL. My main driving is in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, with occasional incursions through unguarded border checkpoints into Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee.

Well, since posting this in January, I now see four or five a day. There was one directly behind me for about ten miles this morning. No longer a member of such an exclusive club...

Another one in my little town, many in Madison. Madison, WI has so many TL's I wouldn't be surprised if they outsell Accords!

I see one every other day or so on the I78 in NJ. And there is a CGP RL parked near the Newark post office on Clinton Street weekdays. In the office multistorey parking lot, there are two OBP RL's, one of which is mine.

New record. On the way home a couple of days ago, I counted six RLs, plus mine makes seven. Yesterday I dropped my son off at school and there was an RL right behind me.

Geez...they're everywhere!

Where do you live that you see so many?
I only see one once a month here. Everyone has a BMW or Lexus no RL's...

I have to say I have seen several lately, and 2 in my office parking garage.
Grey Pearl and Black is what I see. I thought it was just me noticing more RLs.

in the entire time that I have lived in daytona, I have only seen 1 RL, and that was with a guy who was 50+ driving it, Nighthawk Black pearl with tints and factory stuff. The RL is a rare sight here, but I see about 3 TL's everyday

Just moved to Essex county in northern NJ and it seems like there are a fair number of RLs in the Livingston area. Always happy to see another similar type on the road. Easy to recognize at night too with the circular tail lamps.

I've seen a lot more RL's on the road recently here in MA. Heck, when I played golf last weekend there were 3 other RL's in the parking lot (2 of them NBP like mine ).

I saw a CGP RL today on County Line Rd in Branchburg/Readington, NJ around maybe 2-2:30 or so. It had CT plates though. This road runs through an industrial park, where I also work. Just wondering if it was anyone here.

I saw a black one with chrome wheels this morning on Spring Canyon Road in San Diego, and a silver one with aftermarket wheels two days ago on the same street.
