Anyways, congrats on 250K! I'll catch up in about 8600 miles...but that'll take like a year.
Any major issues with the V10 TDI? Would you buy again?

+1

It can read "My RL hit 250,000 Miles and all I got was this lousy bumper sticker."

wwwwow. 250,000 miles is a great feat on its own. 250,000 miles in 5 years is just...wow....

and no major problems? Talk about a confidence booster. I'm hoping to keep my Accord till the million kilometre mark, but it's gonna take me quite a while. My vote is keep your RL till it reaches a million, and then sell it to Acura to put it on display. They'd probably pay a pretty penny for it, simply for the fact that is has so much mileage on it.

I didn't own it, I worked for a dealership back then and picked it up from an auction. Drove it for a week or two and parked it.

Loved every minute of it, one of my favorite SUV's by far. I couldn't even stand to be behind the wheel of a V6 Touareg after the TDI.

I still think with all things electronic including the odometer read-out, there has to be a way to flash that bay boy back to 25K miles.

I noticed your location. Do you drive a Black one? I believe I pass you on the weekday mornings I-26 approx. exit 60 at 7:30 AM. I'm in the grey one.

I hope to see 250K myself and more. I will keep my RL until it retires itself. The design is timeless. It's not a car... more like a work of art.

Sounds about like the right time and I do remember seeing a grey RL.

Professor,

I tried to send you a PM but I can't. I guess I'm still to much of a Newbie. Was just saying hello. It's nice to find someone in the group who is local to me.

That is a lot of time in a car. I know the RL has changed my stress level when stuck in traffic. It is a very pleasant and comfortable place to be.

Now...let me see. Based on my calculations, your RL's durability should translate into 30+ years life in my RL based on my usage!

Beer is on me!
Amen brother. I don't even wanna get out when I arrive at my destination, and neither do my passengers. It's funny when someone(s) is with me and I have to be the person to start getting out first... just so damn comfortable and really a nice get away every drive I take! Ahhhhhhhhh........
