Just picked up a 2012 with "elite" package (CMBS/ACC, etc) from another province with about 31K miles on the clock. I've noticed that under light throttle and a bit of load (say driving around town pulling away from stop lights going uphill on residential streets, etc) it feels like a slight hesitation or stumble, not anything super severe but noticeable to me... almost like how my other (turbo) car will act under boost if the plugs are worn or carboned up a bit. Goes away in the RL with more gas pedal applied. The car still has full bumper to bumper factory warranty for another month or so and another year of powertrain after that, and is headed into the local Acura dealer this week for a full going over and the required motor vehicle inspection, etc before I get my plates. I did get the "Christmas tree" of warning lights on the 8+hr drive home with the car on the freeway, which I suspect is prob the battery on its way out, but of course could be connected to this light throttle/light load hesitation feeling. But, the lights do NOT come on when the hesitation is felt however - they just randomly came on after about 5hrs of driving, then again about an hour after I had got back underway following a stop for gas.

Any ideas what this hesitation thing might be? Service manager at the dealer here mentioned sometimes you get this sort of a sensation if the tranny+diff fluids haven't been done?

 

Tranny fluid change did the trick - much smoother now!
