2009-2010 owners need your help

Just sold my 07 RL and purchased a 2010. In the process of getting the torque converter replaced. Searching here, I had the same noise at 1600 rpms. Under warranty thank goodness. My question is in 2009-2010 RL's what are the rpm's at 65 miles per hour on a flat surface? Don't check this for me in a school zone. Mine is 1950 which seems high. I am wondering if the torque converter problem was keeping the car shifting in fifth gear. Picking it up Friday afternoon.

Thanks for the info!!!

That doesn't seem too high. When the torque converter is going in 5th, my rpms are always above 2100 even at 50 mph.

Yea mine is around 2000. The tranny does produce quite a bit of noise and vibration. Can you describe the noise?
