2008 RL Tech, joining the club

Will be picking up my 2008 RL tech this week. Looking to be on this side of the boards....my faithful TSX is gonna be passed onto relative for many more years of problem-free service.

Already d'l the owner's manuals, i'm sure there will be questions...

Awesome... Post pix when you can. I've always loved the sweeping lines of the cabin of that car. Do you plane on any mods are maybe light mods like tint, wheels, etc?

i had a chance to stretch her legs past couple of days, what i noticed:

- audio system awesome - mp3 are clear, xm radio is great.
- got 4.92 navi installed, did not notice any differences (tri-state area)
- getting NO xm traffic - it keeps saying it can't find traffic within 3 miles (??)
- interior noise better than TSX, but not ultra quiet from tires.
- steering and suspension too cushy, the mxm4 are horrible tires.

got my tint put on, 35% front, 20% back...have extra set of xeonmatch h11 bulbs i will switch out when weather warms up to jack up the car, getting the PA15-ACUXL ipod module.

planning to upgrade to a-spec suspension; and 2010 RL or Ron Jon rims in the spring.

Welcome and congrats! I wish I had done 20% tint on the rears... The 35% all around just doesn't quite do it for me, but oh well!

Aspec suspension FTW!!

Steering and suspension and tires can be fixed easily.

A-Spec suspension + stickier tires + SH-AWD=awesome handling. Guaranteed.

You don't need to do a non-stock size to get that improved tire performance Neuronbob speaks about, either. Many RL owners swear by Michelin Pilot Sports all-seasons for this car.

Welcome and congrats on your purchase. You will love the way the Aspec suspension feels and handles. Make sure to post some pics, so we can admire your new car.
