I have a 2006 RL that will not start. In position 1 dash lights up and i'm asked to enter navigation code after entering code all lights go out. What could be the problem? Batter?

 

Does the starter click at all? Have you tried jump starting the car? The batteries are notorious to die on these cars.

 

At what point exactly does the lights go out? Are you entering the code and the lights go out right as you enter the last digit or after you turn the key? What happens if you dont enter the code? Dont do unnecessary steps so you can narrow down the issue (dont enter the code). Sounds like you have a battery or fuse/ground issue.
