I have a 2005 RL. Several months ago, when driving on a freeway exit, the car suddenly died. The person who towed me thought that it may have been the fuel pump. So I changed the fuel pump, the relay and fuel pump module behind the back seat. After trying to start it repeatedly, I must have damaged the starter. So I replaced the starter. Now when I try to start it, I get no spark. The battery is ok. The starter turns the engine over, but it just won't start. I had an electrical guy take a look at it. The fuses are all ok and the relays check out good. He said he thinks it could be the ECM. Is it possible that it could be something else? If I do buy a used ECM, is there a dealer in the country that will program it for me?

Any codes? It's possible something like a camshaft position sensor is preventing it from starting?
