So my NAV keeps saying check disc and will never load. Normally when you turn on the vehicle, it gives you the disclaimer and safety message and then loads into the Acura Symbol and then go to the NAV map. Now it won't even load up. Because the air controls, fan speed and such is within the nav screen, I can't even control my fan speeds anymore, been only using AUTO for the temp control. Do you guys know if the issue is with my NAV screen or is it my DVD drive for the NAV in the trunk area? Anyone has encountered this problem?

 

You should be able to go in climate screen by pressing A/C button

Unfortunately your NAV unit needs to be replaced. You can roll the dice and check eBay or Alpine still repairs these units, if I recall its $350 for a refurb from Alpine via the Acura dealer.
