2005 Acura RL Coupé

Here it is, the 2005 Acura RL Coupé:

Acura RL Coupé

I gave it a longer hood, bigger doors, a slightly shorter backend and a lower roofline. Pillarless windows, some bigger rims, subtle modifications to the grill and headlights. Hope you like it!

Greetings
André

Good work Andre! That's an excellent rendition of a coupe RL...especially nice if the grille would be just a little larger (wider and taller) and the headlight a little smaller, more vertical...If Honda did that and stuck a 350 hp V8 in that baby it would conquer the world!

I think the stock engine would be great for european markets, but an V8 option ist a must in this class. Not sure if the RL sedan aka Honda Legend will introduced outside the U.S., but I hope.
Glad that you like my rendering, I think it's close enough to the sedan, but it has some nice coupé stylistics like the lower roofline and the long hood.

Greetings
André

BTW: Have a look at my other Acura renderings

André, nice work. Now just add those A-Spec pieces onto it and it'd be perfect.

That would be the next step...but first I've added a black RL Coupé. See link above. More to come later...

Thanks
André

I'd extend the doors a little more and add some A-spec rims, but overall very nice.

the front doors are very big, about the size of 5-inches longer...that should be enough...compare:

Hmm...I actually was thinking the same thing about the doors...

Maybe the front windshield needs to be raked a little more??

Coupes, in general, have shorter wheelbases than sedans. Shortening the wheelbase would've also made the extended doors actually appear extended.

well, I've made the wheelbase shorter, but only about 4-5 inches. the doors were made bigger, and as you can see, I've changed the position. so I got a larger front section.

greetings

To CWW: I like your work man. I want to know if that was you who did the 2006 CL A Spec. If that was you that also was a nice design. I gave that CL picture to the salesman that sold me my TL and he said he would give it to the Acura rep that comes around to the dealerships. I told him that I would try to find out who did it so they could get credit for their work.

I'd hit that, Andre. It looks even better than your RL wagon design. Maybe Acura should hire you.
