07 Rear Camera license trim

Hi Guys, I've been going for months trying to get either a 07 or 08 license trim and I can't get a straight answer from the dealer. I ended installing the rear camera on the center as intructed on the instruction but would like to retrofit same way psheu did his which you can see it here for reference. I checked on oemacuraparts.com and found part # 74890-SJA-J02ZC. Can someone help me with this. If I order the wrong part I will be stuck with it.

That's the part I would buy. Hoe did you install it in the center with the latch there?

The latch gets replaced with a small button that goes on the right of the trim. Just need to drill a small hole to fit the button.I always prefer the camera mounted on the left. Do you have a camera on yours oo7spy?

I did the exact same way psheu did. I just checked the part number on my invoice and the part number I have matches the part number you listed above so you should be just fine.

The install actually isn't too bad if you have the right tools, which includes a drill.

Here's the catch though - the camera from the 06 accessory won't be an EXACT fit, but pretty close. In order to do the standard way on the 07 and 08 you would have to buy the camera designated for the 07 and 08 model. Which I believe isn't a plug and play from my research. I would go check out the camera from 07 and 08 and you will know what I mean.
