Has anyone done just a muffler removal to their RL and changing it to a straight pipe? If so, how does your RL sound around 1500-3000 RPM's? Im planning to keep the resonators stock and just do a muffler removal but i want to hear other people's opinion first. TYIA acurazine fam!

 

the exhaust note comes from the engine...since the engine is a J35, you can search youtube for sound clips of what you want....using the J35 as a qualifier, instead of RL.

 

Got it and thank you, im kinda new to this thing since i got my RL 8 months ago.. First thing i did to her was replaced the stock air box with CAI (planning to switch to Short intakes from cosmo racing next year). got her new wheels and next in plan is a muffler delete. cheers

if you want a little more noise from the exhaust note; ask the exhaust shop to cut off and replace the resonator with straight pipe
