05 grill: Trying to paint it

05 grill: Trying to paint it

I have question for you guys. My chrome is chipping off of my grill. I'm looking to get it painted black to match the car but has anyone done this and if so can ou direct me to pics? Thanks.

One of the guys I work with is a professional painter as his other job. He is doing it for free basically. I just have to get the materials.

I like it but I'm thinking no chrome in it at all except for the A. My chrome is flaking off where yours is chrome.

Tell him to get what he needs if he's the pro, I don't think there is a black on black grill so you might be the first, there is one guy who paint matched his LSM: good luck http://dev.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...=painted+grill

I'm sure that he knows what to get. I was looking for a picture more than anything. Just to see what it would look like on a real car. Not photoshopped.

I just replace the bottom chrome piece it was only about $40.00. I think the top is about the same.

Yeah, the chrome pieces are pretty cheap. I bought an extra bottom one just in case mine starts peeling for like 16 dollars, don't think I can find it that cheap now.

Yeah I like that. It looks clean. I think I'll do it. But I'll leave the "A" chrome.
