Hey guys i just bought a 2005 acura rl and i opened the sunroof and now it wont close even if i hold it to the close position it just keep on going and it wont close what do i do. What if i take it to the acura dealership to fix, please guys i need ur help ASAP kinda freeking out

its like when i want to close it , it will just cycle and gp back open i have to guess when it is closed will that procedure work

Did you check the track to make sure something isn't jamming it?

The track is clear could some one run me by the reset procedure which one is the tilt button

I feel like you are trolling at this point... I'll try this one more time...

open the roof fully keep the open button held for 5 seconds or so after it is fully open then slide the roof fully forward hold the switch in the full closed position for five or ten seconds and the motor relearns the open and closed positions.
