I have seen this incentive mentioned in several posts. How up front are dealers being with it? Are they offering to take $2500 off best negotiated price? I am planning on leasing an RL next weekend. Best offer before incentive was for $599 + tax and $880 at signing. That is lease price of $44488. Have one dealer now talking about same basic deal but lowering monthly to $579 a month. That makes lease price about $43675. If they take the $2500 off the original lease price, I should be able to get lease price down to about $42000. That would knock monthly down to about $530+tax.

Does that make sense? Do you think dealers would go that low?

 

I've just been through this with 2 dealers. I was discussing with one salesman that I would expect the $2500 incentive to take me down to $42,xxx. He said in theory that it would be possible, but he doubted any dealer would give the entire incentive up to a buyer.

He appears to be correct. Dealers are resisting sharing this 2.5k incentive on their leases. I approached another dealer & flat out asked for it, all they did was try to snow me with #'s that still amounted to a $599 lease for 3 years.

I should be able to lease an RL & buy it back at the end of 3 years for a price that would be more economical had I bought it outright, thanks to this 2.5k incentive.

Sadly, no incentives yet for an outright RL purchase.
Nissan has a family & friends plan but you really need a nissan affiliate to take advantage of a purchase. It is good for all Infiniti models also.
