$1,200 for everything...

Timing belt,water pump, raditor fluid,dry belts, tensioner,spark plugs and a free 2009 tech TL to drive around. 2005 Rl returned clean an Purring!! go to acura of Avon you will not regret the service..... I did not like the TL it was ugly and cheap compared to the RL. I liked the weather and better Nav screen. I think i will keep my RL until acura brings me a future RL worth driving...

Hopefully the next RL will indeed be worth driving.

Agreed on the TL. My loaner didn't have the tech package, but felt overall much more like an economy car. It really made me appreciate my RL even more!

What mileage when you had this done. I was asking about plug replacement on separate thread.

I was driven in a 2007 Civic and realized I couldn't hear the driver from the back seat at 30mph. Now that's a revelation...

At what mileage was all this work necessary? My '05 is approaching 70,000 and I've begun to think about the timing belt.

Look in your manual.

I think it will say the timing belt, spark plugs, etc are 105K mile items.

109,000 miles..

was when had everything done. timing belt,spark plugs looked like new..Rl runs the same but less gas mg.

sounds about right, new plugs = more spark = more gas :P
