Tacil brake feel

Wondering if anyone else has noticed this or maybe I'm just not in tune with the brake system on my 2013 RDX AWD.

The very first application of the brakes and just about anything over 25 MPH
there is a distinct grabbing of the brakes which causes one to back off a little and then reapply the second time until the car slows. This all happens in a nano second so it's not a real two step application but feels somewhat unnatural compared to just about any car I have owned previously. Coming from a BMW X5. It certainly does not make for a smooth application to a full stop.

The car has 4000 miles on it and I will take it in for service soon. I'll report this at that time so I'm just wondering if anyone else has felt this.

Intersesting. 31+ views and no comments. Suspect I'm driving a POS. Not surprised as it has more ratttles than a 1993 Nissan with 100K miles on it.

I have not noticed anything as severe as what you are talking about. Sometimes on a rainy day, or just after it rains, the pads will "grab" a little until they have been used and heat up. Maybe the moisture in them causes a "grab" when applied. Does this happen only when first used, or even after driving for an hour or so?
