So looking to purchase a 2017 RDX w/ tech package, 72500 miles. Maintained consistently from record up til 55000 miles. Car ran great for test drive. Found some service records at 70000 miles from dealership that showed some tranny codes which has me concerned. Details below,

Car appears to be fine 2500 miles later after fix and tranny fluid was changed, not sure if flushed several times. Should I stay away?

It all depends on the price of the car and the condition of the body. The transmission for this car is in the $500-700 range, so I don't think it's worth worrying about.

 

$500-700?? For a whole transmission or part that would replace if further issues with solenoid

 

That would not worry me, if the maintenance has been performed consistently and you like everything else about the car. This seems like something that was broken, and was fixed, rather than a long-term issue.

 

Thanks, I agree. Battery was replaced as well. From my research, looks like a bad battery can cause some of the issues as well,picking up later today

 

These are the prices for the entire transmission, it is reliable, it means it doesn’t break and nobody needs it, that’s why it’s so cheap.
