Sunroof Won't Close??
So the other day I am parking my 2013 RDX at the grocery store, and go to close the sunroof, as I have done many times in the past. This day was different, the roof began to close, but when it made contact with the pop-up wind deflector, it reversed direction to the fully opened position. I was able to freely move the deflector mechanism, there seemed to be nothing to prevent it from moving down so that the sunroof could close. I did manage to get the sunroof to close by holding the deflector down with my finger and quickly removing my finger from the path of the sunroof, and then it was able to close.
Is this sort of things common, and is there a DIY solution to prevent it from happening again?

This is an identified issue with 13-15 RDX. I had the same thing happen on my '14 RDX. My dealer repaired it at no charge, but I was under CPO warranty at the time, so I'm not sure how yours' will handle it.
Here is a link to the issue: https://honda.oemdtc.com/288/moonroo...x-2009-2014-tl
Edit: thinking back on it, I believe the dealer told me they repaired the moonroof without doing as much work as described in the doc I sent you. Sorry I don't remember details but my impression was that it was a simple fix (for someone who knows what they're doing).
