Slight vibration at 80mph
Slight vibration at 80mph
2018 acura rdx tech package
so i have this slight vibration when i get to 80 mph .. the car is very smooth even till 78mph and suddenly the vibration is noticable at 80 mph ..
i recently got new tires and was hoping this problem would go away but seems like i still have it ..
wheel balance and allignment done and its not from brakes as the whole car is vibrating not just steering or seats ..
any thing else to check ? any suggestions on how to get rid of that vibration ?

I get very minor vibration on the highway when I hit rough road (at the speeds you posted). LIving in PA we have a lot of rough roads that can use resurfacing. But it drives smooth on newer roads and at lower speeds. I chalk it up to the tires (close to the wear bars) and drivetrain "noise".
I would suggest taking the wheels+tires somewhere to get Road Force balanced. That.... and/or have the driveshaft checked.
We ran into a similar violent vibration issue and ended up doing the Road Force balancing.... and now it's going to Acura next week to have the driveshaft checked.
