This noise has me stumped. Sitting in the driver side I can hear a rattle around the front passenger side when going over bumps. BUT my wife hears it on the driver side. I asked her to press the glove box, press the door sill, etc. with no solution. I traded places with her and I too cannot hear it on the passenger side but can hear it on the driver side. When she was driving she clearly said she could hear it on the passenger side as well.

Solutions?

 

rattles can echo in the car. could be a loose end link or a bad bushing or a bad end link...they are annoying as hell. your dealer will also find it equally annoying since they have to locate it to fix it.

 

Try the sun glass holder thingy on top! I think mine rattles a bit.

 

LOL. It's funny I just saw this thread today. I had the same rattle on the passenger side driving me crazy, but the passenger heard it on the driver side. Just figured it out yesterday that it was my sun glasses in the holder.

 

I have this same exact problem, except I don't have sun glasses in my sun glasses holder! The rattle drives me crazy. The only way I can make it go away is to drive with the holder open, which gets annoying & also clips part of the top view of the rearview mirror
