recently had drivers air bag replaced on wifes 2013 rdx with tech package

since then on gps display screen right side ,a light saying passenger airbag is continually on.

it doesnt say the airbag is off ,it just says passenger air bag.

is it supposed to always be on?

i had it in acura service they said yes, and that no code came up for it.

I have a 2014 ILX and I have the same issue. The passenger side red airbag indicator is always on. It does not indicate "off" and there is nothing on the front seat. I couldn't find anything in the manual.

Actually, in my case, it seems that when a purse or bag is on the passenger seat, the light activates. I think it's reading that there's a person on the seat so the light comes on indicating that the belt should be fastened. I'm still testing theory on my car but I think this may be the cause.

thats a warning light informing you there is not adequate weight in that seat to activate that seats air bag if theres a collision.
